All Smiles

As some of you know, our computer is out of commission for the next 2-4 weeks or so. Thanks to Lindsay I may be able to still post pics though. (Thank you so much!!) I wanted to post a recap of her recent 2 month check up though. She got her first round of shots and did so well! Of course she had the initial wail (about the third shot she was like "Hey! That hurts!" but by the time she got a cry out, they were done!) but calmed down quickly and snuggled up to mommy. She's now 13 lbs. 3 oz and 23 inches long. She's in the 85 or better percentile but Dr. Higginbotham says she'll level out, then grow, then level out, etc. so she won't be this baby giant all the time. haha She's perfectly healthy. Her big belly button is due to an umbilical hernia, but that will close up over time. 10-20% of newborns have it. It doesn't hurt her a bit, just looks funny. She's started smiling over the past week or so (she's almost 10 weeks old now) and we've caught a few of them with the camera. Last night we gave her a bath and she was practically laughing! I'll get some recent pics posted hopefully this afternoon, promise!! Now that she's had her first round of shots we can start traveling without worrying as much about people spreading germs/viruses via kisses and hugs. haha
