Kenzie had her adnoids taken out and tubes put in her ears friday! We've been battling an ear infection for over 2 months and her ENT finally set the date for the surgery. Hopefully that will get rid of the infection and she'll be back to her old self in no time! My mom and dad were with us at the hospital. She and her Pop read books and walked around the waiting room while the rest of us tried to wake up (4:30 comes early!!). She was in a great mood and didn't even cry when they took her back to surgery!
She was pretty disoriented after the surgery and only woke up long enough to let the doctors and nurses know she was ok. Then slept the rest of the day.
Do we spoil her or what? We bought her a car for doing so well!! Customized with Mommy's foam stickers of course. Her Uncle Van and Aunt Kristin brought her a fun balloon!
