Wedding Bells!

My cousin Stephanie got married over President's Day weekend down in her hometown of San Antonio, TX! The whole family flew down and met up with the rest of our ginourmous family for a long weekend of fun! Steph asked Kenzie to be her flower girl so we found the perfect dress for her. She did SOOOO well!! I thought she would freeze once all eyes were on her, but her eyes were focused on the task at hand and she didn't miss a beat!! Caden did fantastic on the plane (Kenzie's an old pro at flying by now) so that was a big relief. We flew in on thursday night and since our hotel was right on the Riverwalk we walked around all day friday. Then Saturday was the big day so we spent the morning getting ready, enjoyed a beautiful catholic wedding and then went back to our hotel for the reception. Brian and I left Caden with Nana and took Kenzie for a "boat" ride on the Riverwalk. She really seemed to enjoy having us all to herself for the evening. We sat on Haagen-Daaz's (sp?) balcony and watched all the silly people walking around and then headed back to the hotel. We flew back to Memphis Sunday mid-morning so we didn't have to get up super early. It was a really fun weekend!! I miss all of our family already!!

Uncle Robert played and sang during the wedding. It really made me miss the old days when we were kids and all got together for Christmas and he'd play his guitar while we sang Christmas carols.
