Spring has SPRUNG!!

We had a very full and very fun Spring Break last week! Kenzie got to spend a long weekend at her Grandma and Grandpa's (and came back telling us all about the baby pigs!), Katie came down Tuesday and stayed all week, and we all celebrated Karis' 1st birthday!!! Once I get my hands on some of Katie's pictures I'll add another post!

While Kenzie was in Linden, Mom and Kristin and I took the babies to the Shelby Farms playground, then shopping at the mall and Target! It's so easy when they're still in strollers! Then once Katie got here, we went to the zoo on Wednesday morning with her and my friend Cindy. It was so crowded,
but SO much fun! Kenzie even got to ride a camel! More pictures of that to come!

Thursday was Karis' BIG day!! We spent some time at her house that morning and watched her open a few presents and enjoy her "birthday donut hole".

"Hmmm...not sure about a donut hole on fire...."

Caden REALLY wanted her birthday donut hole, but he settled for a regular donut hole. ;)

She LOVED it!! Love this smiley girl!

Then Katie and the kids and I went over to my friend Lindsey's house for lunch and playtime! Several of my friends that I worked with at Northaven were there and it was SO fun to catch up and watch the kids play!

Naomi, Caden, and Abigail LOVED the water table! I gotta get one of these!

After lunch we went over to Beth's for a little while so Kenzie could open her birthday present from them. We headed home soon after so we could put the kids down for a nap.
No nap for Kenzie, she was ready to play in the water! It was in the 80's the whole week!!
Friday was pretty rainy so Nana watched Caden so that Katie and I could take Kenzie to the movies to see Dr. Seuss' The Lorax. That was Katie's birthday present to Kenzie. Such a cute movie!

Saturday was another big day! We attended Karis's party in the morning and Miley's party in the afternoon!
Kristin made all of the decorations out of balloons. Cutest thing I've ever seen!!

Miss Karis and her beautiful mommy!

Mom helped her make the balloon topiary. ADORABLE!
And of course Kristin made the cake and cupcakes. YUM!!

Such a dainty eater!
Then we were off to Miley's 4th birthday party! Where else? Sweet and Sassy!! This was the first time we'd been to a party here and it was AWESOME! So girly and fun! The girls got their hair, makeup, and nails done and pranced around in princess dresses with wands and tiaras. It was perfect for little girls!

Miley is in the "birthday girl chair". Kenzie said she wants to sit in the birthday girl chair next year.
I think we'll have to make that happen!

The weather was so wonderful! We had lots of chances to ride bikes and cars in the cove!
