Katie's back!!!

Ok, I'm posting this way late, but I'll try to list it in the appropriate order on the blog. Speaking of posting in the appropriate order, these pictures are NOT in order. I don't think they are anyway, but it's been a few months so I don't know. But they're so cute, I couldn't NOT share them!!! We LOVE when Katie comes to visit!! Of course Kenzie showed her the Tinkerbell tent first! The Graceland pictures are actually from New Years Day. We love having Katie ring in the new year with us....even if we're not a very lively bunch!
Kenzie kept asking for money to throw in the fountain.
Loved getting to see it all decorated for Christmas!
We cooked little smokies in a blanket and had rotel and chips for New Years Eve snacks!
Then we busted out some sparklers that were probably 10 or more years old. Don't think we'll do that again. They were very unpredictable. Dad and I pretended we were have wand wars like in Harry Potter!
As you can see in this picture, she's not ALWAYS perfect.
The lively New Years bunch.
Ok, so the picture show it being a little AFTER midnight, but it took us a while to get just the right picture!
On New Years Day, Katie and Kenzie went with me to Kensey Harris' wedding! Allison Burgess (Miss Cindy's daughter and my friend) joined us!
Kensey and Jared Hall had a beautiful wedding!!! My Kenzie said the bride Kensey looked like a real princess! I thought so too!
These are some of the especially good shots from the Starry Nights light displays at Shelby Farms. It's about a 20 minute drive through Shelby Farms with light displays all over the place. Really pretty!
We took Katie to the zoo one day and showed her Teton Trek. She got to see the Christmas decorations too!
We also went to the Children's Museum on New Years Eve for the Junkanoo Parade! At noon there was a big countdown and then all the employees through out balloons and treats to the kids! We walked in the little parade around the museum and watched the magic show! A fun but exhausting day!
Kenzie LOVED the grocery store part! She even got to ring them up herself!
Can't wait to see Katie in a few months!!!
