It's been a wild couple of days, but I have my computer at the hospital now so I can update everyone! Here's a few pictures that you haven't seen on facebook!
Caden decided to let me know Monday morning that he was ready. So at 3am I woke up having contractions and finally woke Brian up at 4:30. We put shoes on Kenzie and made the trip to the hospital. Nana arrived to "play with Kenzie" and Brian came back to triage. After much debating, the doctors finally decided to go ahead with the delivery and so at 11am they wheeled me to the OR for a c-section. Caden was born at 11:17am weighing 6 lbs 7 oz and measuring 19" long! Being 4 weeks early, they took him to NICU to check him out and discovered he was having some respiratory problems as well as blood sugar issues. Now, two days later, those problems have pretty much resolved themselves (the IV was taken out of his little hand yesterday) but he's not eating as he should so now he has a feeding tube in his nose. But feeding tube or not, he's the sweetest, cutest, most adorable little boy I've ever seen and he's a great snuggler!! I didn't get to see him the rest of that first day, but once I got unhooked from my bed, Brian wheeled me down bright and early the next day to see him. Brian visited him for a while in the NICU that first day so he wasn't completely alone. Kenzie is NOT happy about not getting to see her baby brother (except through the window), but knows that he's "sick" and she can see him when he's better and can come home. So for now she's content to hang out with Nana at home and come visit me and Daddy in the hospital. She's spent alot of time with her Grandma and Grandpa too, so she's not bored! I can't WAIT to start snapping pictures of Kenzie and her baby brother together!!!!!

| The way he was wailing after he was born, I'd have never guessed he had lung issues!! |
| In fact, the only time he didn't cry in the OR was when they handed him to Brian. Awwww... |
| Kenzie did a great job of calming Mommy's nerves. She and Aunt Kristin and Nana came over to distract me. |
| Kenzie drew our family on the board in my room. Daddy is the one at the top, recognize him with the glasses? Of couse! |
| I FINALLY got to see him!! |
| Technically only the mom and dad are suppose to hold the baby, but the nurses were sweet and let Nana hold her grandson. Somewhere there is a picture of Brian's mom holding him, but they must not have used my camera to take the picture! |
Can't wait for Pop to get home from Washington, DC and Uncle Van to get home (and well!) from Oklahoma to see the newest addition!!!
