Long awaited homecoming!!

In the words of Daughtry, "I'm going home, to the place where I belong..."

After 12 days in the NICU/NCCU, he finally gets to come home!!! The nurses and doctors assured us he wouldn't be going home until he was 100% so visitors are welcome as long as there's no chance of illness and everyone washes their hands! We are THRILLED to finally get to take Caden home to meet his big sister and puppy Ace and all of our family and friends!

This is Elizabeth, Caden's NICU nurse. She was AMAZING!

I forget how tiny newborns are!! We're going to need reinforcement here!

She was actually speechless...for about 3 seconds. Then she was all over him!

Introducing Caden to Ace, he's already very protective of Caden!

Sleeps just like Kenzie did/does! Always has those hands by his head!

Barbara was there for a few minutes before heading back to Linden. My mom and dad had come to take Kenzie to Zoo Boo so we were excited that Caden got to come home when he did so they could see him for a little while!

She is an AMAZING big sister. She helps us feed him, and is an awesome "go-fer"!
