PULLING UP!!

We've hit another milestone!! This weekend she started pulling up on anything and everything. She's pulled up once or twice on rare occasions in the past but is apparently totally comfortable with it now. We've caught her crawling with her knees semi-locked and bottom in the air a few times. Guess she doesn't want to get her knees dirty. Here's a pic of her playing on the bottom shelf....heaven forbid her knees touch!

Merry Christmas!!

It's Kenzie's first Christmas!! We took Kenzie to see Santa saturday and she did great! The two kids in front of us screamed but Kenzie actually reached for him! They had quite a conversation, so much so that the photographer had a hard time getting her to look at the camera! So in this picture, she's not annoyed at Santa, she's mad at us for interrupting! It was adorable.

Kenzie is 9 months old now!! I can't believe it. We took her to Portrait Innovations in Collierville again for her pictures and she did amazing!! She did so well that we took her across the area to have her picture made with Santa!! Watch for that picture to be posted soon, she did great!! The burgundy dress in the bottom picture is what she'll be wearing to Van and Kristin's wedding.

Seth's 9th birthday!!!

My best friend Beth's oldest son Seth had his 9th birthday last weekend! I can NOT believe he's 9 already! Time flies, I remember when he was Kenzie and Drew's age like it was yesterday!!!

Kenzie and Drew are about 5 or 6 weeks apart. It's fun to watch Drew and get ideas about what Kenzie will be up to in a few weeks! They're adorable together!!!!

Kenzie's almost 9 months old and it's gone by so fast! These are just some random shots I've taken lately. Her adorable winter coat and snow boots..... Her little outfits that make her look like a little girl instead of a baby......

Big weekend!

Brian and I had a busy weekend a couple of weeks ago!! First we visited Van and Kristin's new house! They closed on it the day before those two pictures were taken. We are so excited for them! I think Van will move in after he finishes up at U of A (that's right! He'll graduate on Dec. 15th!) then Kristin will move in after the wedding (on Dec. 28th in case you didn't know).

Then Brian and I took a much needed vacation, just the two of us, to Hot Springs, AR. We had an awesome couples massage at the Arlington Hotel & Spa, then hiked up to the observation tower. Yes, we hiked up the mountain....and lived to tell about it.

We took Kenzie to Bellevue's Family Fun Festival. I think the final number was over 15,000 in attendance! Last year was only 4,000! Surpisingly with that many people, we ran into a number of people from our class! I'll edit this post as more pictures come in but here are a "few"!

Costume Crazy!

We never know what the weather will be like from one Halloween to the next so we were prepared this year! In case of cold temps, Kenzie would be your friendly little frog. Warmer weather would produce a plump little pumpkin! Well of course we had to take pics of her in both!!
