Tiger Mania!!

The Memphis Tigers had an AWESOME season and made it all the way to the National Championship last night in San Antonio, TX!! They were tied and went into overtime and didn't quite pull it out. But we're still very proud of our Tigers!!! It was only the second loss of the season!! Every time we'd say "GO TIGERS!!!!!!" Kenzie would put her hands up in the air. So cute! By the way, do you see those teeth in this picture??!!

Gardening with Nana

Kenzie was such a big help!! Nana would take the weeds out...
And Kenzie would put them back in!

Priceless Pics...

Just some random moments we thought you'd like to see.... Mom and Dad brought the red and gold outfit home from San Francisco.... Kenzie's first carosel ride at the Wolfchase Mall (she loved it!)......
And her new dress!

I'm ONE!!!

We took Kenzie to Portrait Innovations in Collierville again to have her one year pictures made. She has been battling an ear infection for about 4 weeks now, but still managed a few smiles for the camera! I can't believe she's one!!!!!!

Snow Days!

Memphis DOES get snow once in a while!! Shelby County schools let out early so Kenzie and I got to play a little! It was even prettier when we woke up the next morning! Kenzie's first snow!
Kenzie wasn't really sure what to think about the cold stuff hitting her in the face, but she walked around in it for a little while.
We went to Linden later that weekend for a bonus birthday party. By the way, this snow came the weekend after her birthday party. It was mid 60's on her birthday and below freezing less than a week later!

Walking!!!

She's actually been walking since about two weeks before her 1st birthday, but everytime I start videoing I forget it can only be 20 sec. for the blog. She's all over the place!! She doesn't do it in this video but most of the time when she's walking, she claps (guess we did that alot when she started! haha). It's the funniest thing!!

Happy 1st Birthday!!!!!!!!

Hey shorty, it's your birthday, shake your booty....wait....seriously??!! I can't believe it's been a year!!! Kenzie has been a true blessing to our family. She is a healthy, happy, active, beautiful, smart little girl, who has a rhythm all her own. She loves music, clapping, phones, books, and especially her family. She has an infectious laugh and a beautiful smile (love those dimples!!) I can't wait to see what her 2nd year brings!
Kenzie wasn't really sure what to think about all the people, but when Miss Cindy walked in (her sitter), she definitely was comfortable with THAT familiar face!! Ok, Do I not look taller than the house in that one picture? What the heck kind of camera angle is that?!! haha
Her grandma and grandpa brought a helium tank so we'd have balloons everywhere! Her Nana and Pop and myAunt Kathie were there too, but I don't seem to have a picture of them!! Maybe Barbara will have some on her camera. Check back in a few weeks to see if I've added pics.
We celebrated Van's birthday sunday night while all of our family was in town, but so far these are the only pics I have. I'll post more when I get them though!! I think Kris took some.

Who's afraid of the big bad....bunny?

Not Kenzie!! As you can see, she's got this bunny under control.
