the Birthday Girl!

Another year has flown by! I'm so glad I keep this blog reasonably up-to-date! My whole family made my day especially sweet!

Mom and Dad sent me these flowers to school.
Brian came to eat lunch with me so he got to see them too!
We had a yummy dinner at The Bar-B-Q Shop!

Kenzie requested a lion ice cream cake for my birthday, but no luck. Orange and white was appropriate for the opening weekend of college football though!

We all converged on Ripley for my family celebration! Boofer and Ace got along great!

Aunt Kristin even gave Kenzie a pedicure! They had matching toes!

It was a BEAUTIFUL day to go to the park so we spent most of the morning there. It was in upper 70's/lower 80's with a nice breeze. I could have stayed out there all day! Instead, we played at the park all morning while the boys played golf. Then we went back to Nana's and had lunch and spent the rest of the afternoon in the backyard. SUCH a nice visit!

No pictures?

Sorry there haven't been any updates lately. I lost my camera battery charger and my camera battery went completely dead. It's on my birthday list though so hopefully there will be new pictures soon! I will also have a new post once I get pictures from my amazing photographer cousin from her trip here this summer! Even I can't wait for those!! School has started back for the year and is going well so far! My doctor told me to take it easy and stay seated as much as possible to keep this baby from coming early. While it drives me crazy not being able to get up and go like I use to, my principal and husband are takeing the doctor's orders seriously. But as much as I fuss, I'm glad they care and it does keep me from having contractions, so I'm thankful for their persistence! Kenzie is getting more and more excited about her baby brother. She keeps "donating" some of her toys to him and asking to go shopping to buy him bottles, diapers, toys, and clothes. She's is the joy of my life and I can't wait to "give" her a baby brother. I hope they get along!

River City Church picnic

River City Church had a big picnic at Buckhead Creek park a few weeks ago. It was SO hot, but we had a great time. There was a balloon artist, inflatables, and.....JERRY'S SNO CONES!!!
Rylen Hester really enjoyed his sno cone!
Kenzie had fun in the inflatables with Molly Dunn and Adelin Hester.
There was a small pond right next to the pavilion and Kenzie really showed those boys how to fish!
Some of our new friends at RCC: MacKenzie, Cody, Heather, and Garrett Smith, Lauren McCuistion and Veronica McKim
Melissa Dunn with baby Hudson (baby Huddy)

My how he's grown!!

I finally took a minute to scan all the ultrasound pictures we've had of this new baby boy! It's so amazing to see how different he looks everytime we go in!
about 6 weeks
Nearly 8 weeks
19 weeks (it's a boy!!)
27 weeks
The ultrasound technician is really sweet. She said she had some time to kill before Dr. Peeler came in so she wanted to "play". So she turned on the 4D imaging!! Sorry, but those pictures just look weird to me, so I didn't include them. But it was cool seeing it on the screen! Oh, and that "bubble" above his nose is actually the umbilical cord. He was just playing with it.

Happy Father's Day!

Kenzie helped me pick out Daddy's Father's Day present! We got him a few goodies from Old Navy. He'd already bought his big present...a new rod and reel!
Grandma went with us to Sweet and Sassy to watch Kenzie get a much needed haircut!

Norfork Lake

Van and Kristin invited us to her family's lake house on Norfork Lake in Arkansas and we had the BEST time!!! It was SO relaxing! Wish Brian could have gone with us but he was...what else?...fishing!
Kenzie LOVED the boatrides and playing in the water!
Kenzie and Kristin fed the fish leftover pancakes one morning.
Not too sure about watermelon. Hey! Check out Uncle Van and Nana cliff diving!
Basking in the sun, that's my girl!
