Storytime!!

Kenzie's big birthday present was tickets to see Storytime Live! Featuring Dora the Explorer, Ni-hao Kai-Lan, the Backyardigans, and the Wonder Pets. She LOVES those shows and I have to admit, I like them too! But the best part of going was that we took friends with us! Beth and her youngest son Drew went with us, and so did Kim and and her youngest son Ethan! Kenzie sees Ethan every day at Cindy's so they naturally stayed close to each other the whole time. I have more pictures, but not on the computer I'm on right now, so I may try to post more later. The kids AND the moms had a GREAT time!!
Here's just a glimpse of the different shows and at the end they came out and did a big dance number together. It was hard to take pictures during the show because I had to keep my flash off, but you get the idea anyway...

An Eggapalooza!!

This was our first Easter away from home, and boy did we make the most of it!! Kenzie participated in THREE egg hunts, and got to decorate cupcakes and eggs! She and Grandma decorated cupcakes for the church egg hunt at Aunt Vicky's house.
All that work takes a toll on a little girl!
She LOVED dyeing easter eggs!!
Look at my hands!!
On Saturday morning, we went to Mousetail Landing State Park for a hunt....
...some kids won baby ducks and bunnies, and let Kenzie pet them!
Helping make a bouquet for the church egg hunt...
Then on Easter morning, the hunt was on for her Easter basket!!!
Found it!
All dressed up and off to church!
After church was the big family egg hunt. I want to say Kenzie found over 60 eggs, but it may have been more!! Luckily very few had any candy in them, most had about $0.25 p/egg. Adds up!

Mom's Birthday!

We all went to Ripley to celebrate Mom's birthday at the end of March (yes, I know I'm very behind).
Of course, she put the guys to work in the yard. If you haven't seen the new kitchen or back porch, YOU SHOULD. It's really beautiful and I'm so happy for Mom and Dad. They totally deserve it!
Ace and Boofer weren't happy with us for leaving them outside. But then a squirrel or something would distract them and off they went!
Kristin makes the yummiest cakes in the WORLD!!! I love the little purple flowers she put on this one for Mom's birthday cake!
We had to shield the cake while we lit the candles! So mom got some help blowing out the candles this year from mother nature!
This isn't from Mom's birthday, but it's one of the many dresses Kenzie gets from her Nana! LOVE IT!!
