A Caden & Kenzie Frenzy!: Crazy for SeaWorld!!! Or "Kenzie and Elmo's BIG Adventure" whichever you prefer

This was by far the best vacation I've ever had. Now, I've had some awesome TRIPS, but there's a difference between TRIPS and VACATIONS.

Now that I've cleared that up...where was I...

oh yea, best vacation ever. Thanks to Sheila Carlson for the awesome deal on our lodging we were able to take a great vacation, splurge on a couple of "memory maker" reservations and be worry-free for the whole trip. Just had to enjoy it all!

Since Kenzie's 2 now, she had to have her own seat on the plane. I grumbled about it at first because I thought she'd be in our lap the whole time. WRONG! She LOVED having her own seat and was an angel the entire flight there and back! I partly named this blog "Kenzie and Elmo's BIG Adventure" because she took him with her everywhere we went. And she made sure he got to see and do everything right with her! Notice she even has him buckled up with her on the plane. Safety first!

We got in really late thursday night/friday morning so we spent friday exploring the resort.

We saw those little lizards EVERYWHERE. I kid you not...we counted 55 on the way back to our suite from the pool one day.

That gator wasn't suppose to be in the lake apparently, but what would Florida be without gators? This was our two bedroom villa. It was BEAUTIFUL!!! We couldn't have asked for a nicer place. And it was far enough from the pool that there was very little noise, but only took us a couple of minutes to walk to it. "It" being one of at least 3 different pools on the complex!

Kenzie had her own room, with two queen size beds to choose from AND her own bathroom!

I was out on the balcony reading when Kenzie napped most days. That's the view... That HUGE play maze was in a "Kid-Zone" on the resort campus. Kenzie loved it! Of course occasionally she'd try to make her own maze with the chairs...

One of the many pretty courtyards. They had activities, including face painting, for the kids everyday. Honestly, we would have had a ball just staying on the resort if we hadn't had the week-long SeaWorld passes! We swam at the different pools just about everyday.

Saturday night we had reservations to "Dine with Shamu". It was so cool having dinner with the killer whales swimming and performing right next to us! And the food was WONDERFUL!!

Kenzie thought the whales' tricks were pretty funny.

Sunday we took her to watch the Elmo & Abby show so she could get use to seeing the characters live and up close (as close as the stage anyway) because Monday we'd be having Breakfast with Elmo and Friends!

Before the show, an employee was walking around. He dropped down by Kenzie and told her that her Elmo was going to have to go back stage and get ready for the show. She looked at him like he was out of his mind!!! I don't think he stopped laughing the whole way back to the stage.

That was a long day. Most days we just spent a few hours at SeaWorld, but we were there all day on Sunday.She pet rays and saw dolphins being fed

and saw several shows!

She also picked up a new friend, Slick the sea turtle!

We were up bright and early Monday to go have Breakfast with Elmo and Friends! Before the show, Cookie Monster, Bert, and Ernie walked around to our individual tables. There were only about 10 tables so we got lots of time with them! Kenzie was pumped at first, then wouldn't let any of them touch her. So they loved on Brian, Elmo, and I instead! In fact, her Elmo got LOTS of love, especially from Bert!

She really liked Abby Cadabby, but wouldn't let her touch her either. Oh well, we had a fun time anyway. And again, the food was delicious!!

We went to a scrapbook store so I could get some SeaWorld/Florida materials and Kenzie had been so good we bought her some Tinkerbell stickers. Poor rental car guys, they're probably STILL finding stickers in the seats!

Tuesday was our last day at SeaWorld so we spent most of the time at Happy Harbour. It's a big children's area complete with a mini-sprinkler park! (It doesn't even COMPARE with Collierville's but she still enjoyed it.)

We finished off with Shamu's "Believe" show. Pretty cool and the baby killer whales were cute!

For our last full day in Orlando we went over to Aquatica for a few hours. It's a HUGE waterpark!

Kenzie went CRAZY over the toddler waterslides! I bet we went down them twenty times with her! They were pretty fun, I have to admit. We even swished up on the sides a little in the curves!
